Trivial Diversion, Beauty in Evil Consumerism

EDIT: The video was removed by JC Penny, as it was a Spec ad that didn’t get the spot and was not sponsored by JC Penny. Damn shame, it was wonderful.

Old—————————————————————————-

This commercial is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It’s so good that it actually won a Cannes Film Festival award. And it’s from JC Penney. How strange is this?

I wouldn’t normally write about something so trivial but I’m giddy about this commercial, and it’s 5:30 am.

  1. This is long gone, dude. Supposedly not real. Sorry.

  2. Just went down today actually, i showed it to my mother yesterday.

And it’s not a ‘real’ JCPenny ad, meaning it won’t be shown on television; it’s what’s called a Spec ad, which is supposed to show off the creativity and abilities of production agencies.

It’s a damn shame, cause it was wonderful. The music was great… I wish I knew what it was.
